  • [es-pree de less-ka/-iay] (idiom) A witty remark that occurs to you too late, literally on the way down the stairs. The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations defines esprit de l'escalier as, "An untranslatable phrase, the meaning of which is that one only thinks on one's way downstairs of the smart retort one might have made in the drawing room."

Sending you big noggin massages. Thanks for the fun video link, I am a fool for busy Japanese intersection footage. Makes me all moony...

Good luck with your work. You'll do great.

this is the best toy theatre ever

Toy theater!

I thought you'd like it, what with the Spoon and the happy, squigy puppet.

GOOD LUCK getting your shit done. I assume that you are crocheting with Frank and watching an ANTM marathon. Stop this immediately and work on your presentation. Please. For the love of God. I lived with you when you were going through a period of henious "eye twitch," so do yourself a favor and get this shit DONE.
